Who we are

 

Euro Wave Energy is a trade mark containing facts and information about systems that convert wave energy into electricity, all of them based on Wave Energy converters, invented by Olaf Akervoll and patented worldwide. Currently those patents are owned by Craft Services AS, an enterprise established to develop, market, sell and install such systems alone or through joint venture agreements with industrial partners.

Effectiveness and reliability are the drivers for Craft Services equipment development projects. The company will deliver and install wave power plants in accordance to the industry’s HSE standards.

Another goal is to minimize the investment needs and risks it has been achieving using subcontractors for the production of parts under the strictest quality control.

 Olaf Akervoll Chairman of the Board and Technical Director

Holds Engineering degrees both in Mechanical and Electrical disciplines with over 30 years off shore operational experience, covering Engineering, Operations in Statoil, Hydro and Phillips Petroleum Company, Petroleum, Consulting in addition to Industrial Teaching.
Hans Christian Akervoll Board member – Engineering Advisor (hourly basis) holds a M.Sc. in Automation Engineering.
Jarle Hvidsten Board member – holds an Electrical Engineer and a diploma with disciplines and positions in subsea technology development and installation with over 10 years of experience in subsea.
